Net-Print

A CIT service that allows you to print from your computer (or one in a computer lab) to laser printers located in many campus buildings.

NetID

A personal, unique identifier assigned to everyone in the Cornell community, consisting of initials followed by one or more numbers, used to obtain access to online services, such as e-mail and administrative systems.

Network Operations Center (NOC)

CIT department that operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to ensure the reliability of campus voice, video, and data communications.

Network Usage-Based Billing (NUBB)

A fee for using the Cornell network to communicate with off-campus locations, NUBB includes a monthly fee and additional charges if a monthly threshold is exceeded.
