How to Add the Cornell Configuration (PCF) File: Mac OS X

To use VPN with Cornell campus networks and services, you must use the Cisco VPN software with the Cornell campus configuration (PCF) file installed.

If you're using Cisco VPN software version 4.0 or higher, you can continue to use it. However, you must add Cornell's configuration file.

Adding the Cornell Campus Configuration (PCF) File

  1. Download the PCF file:
  2. If prompted, enter your NetID and password.
  3. Choose a location and click Save.
  4. In a Finder window, click Applications and then click VPN Client.
