What are Sun's CoolThread Servers? - Servers based on Sun's UltraSPARC T1, T2, and T2 Plus processor.

SPARC Enterprise Servers-SPARC64-VI
What are SPARC Enterprise Servers? - The fastest SPARC/Solaris OS servers, bringing mainframe-class availability and partitioning to the open systems market.
- The new SPARC64 VI processor consists of two SPARC V9 cores with two vertical threads per core.
- This multicore/multithreaded processor delivers up to 1.6 times the performance of the 1.8GHz UltraSPARC IV+ processor used in comparable Sun Fire systems.
- Ideal for web tier environments, large-scale enterprise applications, mission-critical complex applications.
