Make a Server Farm VPN Connection Using Mac OS X
- If this is the first time you're connecting to the Server Farm VPN, you'll need to set up the connection. See Setting Up a Server Farm VPN Connection Using Mac OS X.
- If you've already set up your connection to the Server Farm VPN, follow the steps in Connecting to the Server Farm VPN Using MAC OS X.
Setting up a Server Farm VPN Connection Using Mac OS X
- In a Finder window, from the Go menu, select Applications, and then double-click Internet Connect.
- Click VPN.
- Select PPT, and then click Continue.
- Click Configuration, and then select Edit Configurations....
- In the Configuration window, enter the following information:
- In the Description box, enter ServerFarm VPN.
- In the Server Address box, enter serverfarmvpn.cit.cornell.edu.
- In the Account Name box, enter your NetID followed by @ServerFarmVPN, for example, ewe2@ServerFarmVPN.
- Select Use Password, and then enter your CITSTAFF password. This is different than your NetID password.
- Click OK.
- In the VPN window, click Connect.
- To disconnect your Server Farm VPN connection, click, Disconnect.
