Installing an SSH Client

Use this procedure to download and install an SSH client.

  1. Download the newest ssh.com from ftp://metalab.unc.edu/pub/packages/security/ssh/SSHSecureShellClient-3.2.9.exe.

  2. Double-click the SSH Secure Shell Client icon to start the installation.

    Follow the instructions on screen. Accept the default options.

  3. Some command paths are changed during installation, so reboot your computer when the installation is complete.
