New EZ-Backup TSM software (v5.5.2.2) is now available for Windows. This new version does not include support for Windows 7, or Windows Server 2008 R2. We anticipate receiving new versions of TSM from IBM that support these new operating systems, as well as Snow Leopard, in the next few months, as indicated below.
If you are currently using EZ-Backup, please be aware that if you upgrade an existing system to Snow Leopard, Windows 7, or Windows Server 2008 R2, the currently available versions of TSM will not properly backup your system at this time. You will need to install the newer versions of TSM to do this when they become available.
TSM v5.5.2.2, Available now
For Windows XP SP2, Vista, Server 2003, Server 2008 R1.
This version includes new power management scripts. Upgrade to this version to get the latest patches (including security patches) and to obtain the new power management scripts. The new power management scripts allow you to configure TSM to

- prompt you prior to running a scheduled backup to allow you to defer or cancel it.
