CIT Server Farm: What Will CIT Provide?
The Server Farm facility in Rhodes Hall provides a climate-controlled environment with 24/7 on site staff.
Servers are mounted in CIT provided racks. (If your server is not currently rack mountable, CIT can assist you with selecting the appropriate rack mount kit)
Standard service in the Server Farm includes:
- 24-hour system monitoring, basic level troubleshooting, system rebooting, and System Administrator notification as needed
- Network connectivity
- Uninterruptible power with generator backup
It is the customer's responsibility to provide hardware and software maintenance.
