Set Windows to Manage Your Wi-Fi Connection

  1. Click Start, then click Run.

    Windows Start Menu > Run

  2. Enter services.msc and click OK.

    Run menu - services.msc

  3. In the next window, double-click Wireless Zero Configuration. (You may have to scroll down to locate it.)

    Services: Wireless Zero Configuration

  4. In the Startup Type list, click Automatic, and then click Start.

    Wireless Zero Configuration Properties

  5. You may be asked to disable the wireless software that came with your wireless card. Read this notice and then choose to disable your wireless card's software.

  6. Click OK and close the window.
