How to Set up a RedRover-Secure Network Connection on Windows Vista

To use RedRover-Secure, you need to set up a network profile.

Set up a RedRover-Secure Network Connection on Windows Vista

  1. Click Start, then select Connect To.

  2. Right-click RedRover-Secure, and click Properties.

  3. Click the Security tab.
    • In the Security Type list, click WPA2-Enterprise.
    • In the Encryption Type list, click AES.

  4. Under Choose a network authentication method, select SecureW2 TTLS, and then click Settings.

  5. In the Profile list, click RedRover-Secure and then click OK.

  6. Click the Connection tab. Click the box next to Connect automatically when this network is in range, and the click OK.

  7. Click OK again.

  8. You'll see a balloon in the Windows taskbar asking you to Click here to select a certificate or other credentials for connection the network RedRover-Secure. Click the balloon.

  9. In the NetID box, enter your NetID and in the Password box, enter your NetID password as the password. Leave the Domain box blank.

  10. Click OK.

  11. Your computer is now connected to the RedRover-Secure network. Open any web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) to connect to the internet.
