What's Published in Paper Form? On the Web?

All CIT documents are available on the web. A few are also available in paper form.

Information about how to use a service is normally available via the Computing at Cornell web page that describes the service. For example, to locate documentation about Eudora, go to the Eudora page.

Getting Paper Documents

Please consult CIT's current list of available documents.

You can obtain paper versions of most CIT publications by visiting the CIT HelpDesk, 119 Computing and Communications Center, or by sending e-mail to pubs-orders@cornell.edu.

CIT can send you the requested documentation in campus or US Mail. If you send a request for paper copies, please be sure to give enough information so that we can contact you about the request if necessary. Also indicate how many copies you need and when you need them.

Adobe Acrobat PDF Files

PDF files are supplied for a few documents intentionally designed to be read and used in paper form. We put these up in Acrobat as a secondary retrieval route for those who actually prefer Acrobat to paper and who can get them this way instead of physically coming to the CIT HelpDesk or requesting them via campus or US mail. We design nothing for PDF from the start, preferring the web and paper instead.

If you wish to view or print a PDF file, you will need to obtain and install a copy of the Acrobat Reader.

Policy on Reusing or Adapting Material

Most of the documents and images created and used by CIT are copyrighted by Cornell University.

Except as noted, these documents may be reprinted or adapted for academic nonprofit purposes in print or electronic media, provided the source is accurately quoted and duly credited in a visible manner.If you plan to reprint, reuse, or adapt material from these web pages or PDF files for academic nonprofit purposes, we would appreciate it if you would send notification to our feedback form.
