CUTV, brought to you by Cornell Campus Life and Cornell Information Technologies (CIT), is a computer network service that delivers cable television content through data network connections across campus and in Cornell's residence halls. CUTV works on Windows-based computers or on a standard television. Computer users need a small USB security device; TV users need a Set Top Box. We supply these when you subscribe.
CUTV offers 50 channels of news and entertainment programming for only $30 per month when used with your computer ($45 per month if you're using a television).
Monthly charges for ResNet subscribers will appear on your Bursar account (along with a one-time charge for a security deposit: $45 for computer users, $150 for TV users). The security deposit will be returned when you turn in your equipment in working condition (either at the end of the year or when you cancel your subscription).
Faculty and staff must provide a general ledger account to be billed and will not be charged a security deposit.
