Managing Access to Reports
Authorized Departmental Users (ADUs) are those people who have access to the various reports associated with CIT online bills.
Access to these reports is managed through a web-based tool. The tool can only be used by those who have been granted administrative access. If you believe you should be able to use this tool, but can't, contact your unit's finance or accounting office.
Getting started
Use your browser to visit uportal.cornell.edu

On the Bear Access tab, in the My Accounts folder, click Manage Bills & Reports Access Rights. You may be asked to log in using your NetID and password.
What are the types of access?
You’ll find three checkboxes in the tool. An ADU is a person who has at least one of the three kinds of access turned on.
- CIT Service Charges – grants access to
- the Services Verification Report
- the Department Totals Report
- the Subscriber Summary Report and
- the Export Format: Subscriber/Service Summary & Totals Report (formatted for Excel)
- Confidential Calling Codes – grants access to the Subscriber PBN/Acct Code/Calling Card Report
- Long Distance – grants access to the Faculty/Staff Communications Charges Report
Changes you make affecting access to reports are put into place overnight.
