First, you must be set up as a designate
- If you have been asked to modify someone else's calendar (send out meeting proposals in his or her name and accept or decline invitations on his or her behalf), that person must give you designate rights in Oracle Calendar.
- If you manage a resource, such as a conference room or overhead projector, you will need designate rights so you can accept, decline or modify invitations for that resource.
- Designate rights are most often granted by a senior manager to the administrative aide who handles his or her calendar.
