secure or kerberized course web sites

Instructors who want to secure portions of course web sites or an entire site can do so by request. A site can be secured with a name and password given at the instructor's discretion, and typically only one name and password is used for an entire class. For more security, a site can be Kerberized, requiring a Kerberos-managed Cornell NetID and password, which limits access to members of the Cornell community whom the instructor grants permission through a security permit.
