adabas

Adabas is a DBMS for high-performance online transaction processing. Adabas has performance advantages over relational DBMSs because of its nested Tables/Relations feature and because its architecture is specifically designed to support thousands of users in parallel while giving sub-second response times. Adabas occupies significantly less disk storage than any other DBMS because of its build-in data and index compression. Adabas requires significantly fewer DBA resources than other DBMS because of its complete set of utilities and because many of the tasks usually undertaken by the DBA are already automated.
