Updating the Directory

Moving? New phone number?

The University Registrar maintains information about you, such as campus phone number and local address, that is published in the telephone directory and used by the University switchboard. Whenever any of your personal information changes, be sure to update your records to keep them accurate and complete.

Just the Facts and Who I Am

Both of these services can be found in the Bear Access channel in uPortal.Cornell. Just the Facts is located in the "Student Services" folder and Who I Am is located within the "Directory Services" folder.

  • Just The Facts is used to update your home and local address information for the university registrar, the printed directory, and the electronic directory.

  • Who I Am is used to update your campus address and additional phone numbers (cell, fax, pager) in the electronic directory.

If you do not have Bear Access and a network connection yourself, you can use the kiosks (public computers) in Day Hall dedicated to Just the Facts, or the computers in the CIT Computer Labs, for either Just the Facts or Who I Am.
