Billing and Rates

Billing

Starting in early May 2007, you will be able to view your CIT phone and network statement on the web. You will receive a monthly e-mail telling you when your bill is ready. Read more about online bills...

Contact ResPhone with questions about your phone bill. Please note that ResPhone cannot provide information about your incurred charges between billing cycles. You will have to wait for your CIT Services Report to find out what your charges are. These reports are generally issued the first week of each month.

Rates

to change.

Local Calling Rates

Local calls are not listed or billed on your monthly telephone bill.

Long Distance Rates

USA $ 0.06 (six cents) / minute
Canada $ 0.11 (eleven cents) / minute
Mexico $ 0.255 (twenty-five and a half cents) / minute

Other International Rates

Calling Cards and 900 Calls

Rates for calling card calls are determined by the carrier for your card. 900 calls are charged at the 900 service rate. Cornell does not offer discounts on these calls.

Cordless Phones and Charges for Crossed Signals

Cordless phones are not recommended! Because residence hall rooms are so close together, you can get crossed signals from a cordless phone if someone nearby is also using one. You might then be billed for calls you didn't make. ResPhone will not credit billing errors due to crossed signals.
