Recommended if you use an answering machine that doesn't recognize
double-rings, or if you frequently use a fax machine or modem.

Available for a $10.00 annual fee. Choosing Data
Protection will cancel out Call Waiting. To request Data Protection,
contact ResPhone.
If you use a modem instead of the ResNet service to connect
to the campus network, or if you don't want permanent Data Protection,
you can temporarily add
Data Protection on a per call basis by dialing #4.
(There is no charge for this.)

| AUDIX (Voice Mail)
If you are in a shared residence hall room and want to use
AUDIX, you and your roommates will need to decide who will be
responsible for signing up and paying for the AUDIX bill. This
person, who must be registered at Cornell, is designated the responsible
student.

AUDIX lets you retrieve messages and perform other AUDIX functions
from any Touch-tone phone.
The fee for AUDIX is $2.00 a month, plus an annual $10.00 installation
fee.
