Using AUDIX (voice mail)
AUDIX (AUDio Information eXchange) is the voice
mail service offered at Cornell. To use it, you must register for the
service, and pay an installation fee ($10.00) and a monthly fee ($2.00/month).

registration for AUDIX. Once you've signed up for AUDIX and received confirmation, you'll need to set your AUDIX password.

- Dial 4-4444 from on-campus or 607 254-4444 from
off-campus.
- If you are calling from your campus phone, press #
in place of your extension.
- If you are calling from a phone other than your AUDIX extension,
enter your five-digit campus extension, followed by the #
sign.
- Enter your six-digit password, followed by the # sign.

- Within the Activity Menu, you will get additional information
about all the AUDIX options.
- Within a particular option, you will hear how to use that
choice.

After you hang up, you cannot recover deleted messages.

- Your phone is set to ring 4 times before going to AUDIX.
- Any calls you receive while you're using your phone will go to AUDIX.
- You cannot have Call Waiting with AUDIX (since a second call will
be automatically routed to AUDIX).
