North Campus Residential Halls
Project Description
CIT will manage communications wiring for wireless (Wi-Fi) in residential halls that are in scope for the EzraNet project, as well as for buildings designated by Campus Life. The new infrastructure will support Wi-Fi networking needs for most of the Campus Life community and provide the capacity for Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the designated residential halls. Campus Life has chosen to enhance the residential halls with a Wi-Fi network while leaving the traditional existing wired networks in place. This allows flexibility for students to choose connectivity options based on current needs.
Work in the residential halls will be performed over a period of two years, starting in fiscal year 2009 with an estimated completion date of August 2010.
