Viewing Your Online Bill

Everyone who uses (subscribes to) any of the CIT services associated with these reports has access to monthly statements showing their charges. (What services are included?)

The report will be available for you to view no later than the fifth of the following month. For example, October's data will be available no later than November 5th. You will automatically receive an e-mail each month letting you know that your bill is ready. (What if I don't want to get that e-mail?)

  1. Use your browser to visit uportal.cornell.edu
  2. On the Bear Access tab, in the My Accounts folder, click on Telephone & Network Bills & Reports. (You may be asked to log in using your NetID and password).

  3. At the upper-right, click on My Bills & Reports

  4. You will see only one kind of report:
    Faculty/Staff Communications Charges for Month Year
    or
    Student Communications Charges for Month Year.
    These reports contains information about your monthly charges for services like your telephone, audix, and other CIT services.

  5. To view a bill for a particular month, click on its title. Once the bill has been opened, you can use your PDF reader software to save a copy of the bill to your computer if you'd like.

The bill is stored as a PDF, so you will need PDF reader software to view it. Most computers have this software already installed. If you need to download the (free) software, visit

The most recent bill will be at the top of the list. Moving forward, you will have access to 13 months of data. No historic data is being imported into the new online system, so the bill for April 2007 will be the first month available.

Be sure to log out when you are finished to prevent someone else from accessing your sensitive information. To log out, either click the Logout link on the right side of the browser window, near the top, or close all browser windows.

 

I want to change something on my bill

If you find an error in the data on your bill -- for example, the wrong account is being billed -- please contact your unit's telecommunications coordinator. If you don't know who that is, contact your unit's finance or business office. They'll know.
