Student Technology Assistant Program
CIT is seeking student web developers and multimedia producers to assist faculty and graduate students with development of instructional technology. Job responsibilities include assisting academic faculty and staff with Blackboard, Photoshop, Checkbox, and Dreamweaver, providing assistance in creating and editing Audio/Video elements, and performing web compression tasks.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving and research skills.
- Experience usings Cornell's computing services.
- Functional knowledge of Macintosh or Windows computing.
- Freshman and sophomores preferred.
- Federal Work Study preferred, but not required.
Training:
Information technology at Cornell is highly dynamic. STAP staff must have the ability to acquire and maintain a working knowledge of a wide range of applications and systems. In order to develop and maintain this knowledge, STAP staff are required to attend regular meetings and training activities. Staff are paid for meeting and training time.
Preferred start date: May 12, 2008
Starting Pay: $9.25 an hour
