Computer Lab Consultant
CIT Educational Outreach
CIT is seeking students with strong customer service and software skills to support instructors and students using CIT Public Computer Labs. This position requires excellent customer service, technical, and communication skills, and a high level of dependability. The Computer Lab Consultant supports the experience of the end user in the public labs, assists instructors with class preparation and presentation, maintains the appearance of the lab, and diagnoses/reports equipment problems. He/she performs a key role in representing CIT to the Cornell community.
Requirements:
- Competence with MSWord, Excel, Bear Access, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat and the ability/willingness to learn new software and technology
- Full-time student status
- Federal Work Study is desired but not required
- Strong Customer Service Skills a must
- Willing to work nights and weekends
Preferred start date: May 12, 2008
Starting Pay: $7.50 an hour
