Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

Burton Group Workshop: In late January 2002, CIT and OIT sponsored a workshop on PKI, held by the Burton Group. A group of twenty staff members from campus departments, CIT, OIT, and the Cousel's office attended this two-day session. The Burton Group submitted this summary.

PKI-L Mailing List: A mailing list, PKI-L@cornell.edu, has also been set up for the purpose of discussing this topic. It is an open, unmoderated list. The purpose of this list is (1) to provide a forum for the campus exchange of information on the topic of public key infrastructure, 2) to keep interested parties informed and involved in CIT/OIT-led initiatives to define a PKI direction, and 3) to post information about important national initiatives.
