PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) at Cornell

*** Archived page, last updated May 2003

A pilot project to assess the use of PGP encryption software at Cornell was held from November 2002 through March 2003. Thanks to all who participated. Although Cornell does not currently offer PGP as a locally supported service, it is possible to use PGP in the Cornell environment and quite a few people choose to do so. CIT has created a discussion list as a self-support forum for PGP users. You can subscribe to the list by sending an e-mail to pgp-l-request@cornell.edu with the single word join as the body of the message. CIT staff will participate in the discussion list under the same expectations as any other list subscriber.
