Who can submit Events?

Computing at Cornell Events is open to event listings from the Cornell community.

Submissions are invited from special interest groups (SIGS); IT-related committees and working groups from across campus; Cornell’s distributed IT community; Cornell Information Technologies; student  groups with an IT mission or focus; and academic and research computing groups.

What kinds of events are appropriate for Computing at Cornell Events?

  • Computer or technology training
  • Events with a technology theme

How do I submit an event?

Send your article to citnews-web@cornell.edu. A CIT moderator will review it, contact with any questions about the event, then post it.

Members of the CIT staff may also use the Submit Event form.

When will my event appear?

Events submitted using the online form will post immediately. Events submitted via email will be reviewed within one to 24 hours, Monday through Thursday. CIT will make every effort to post events submitted on Friday on the same day. Otherwise, Friday submissions will appear the following Monday, except holidays.
