Antivirus: Windows: Troubleshooting

The Norton AntiVirus shield icon isn't loading in the system tray

Problem: NAV is installed on the system, but the shield icon doesn't appear in the system tray upon Windows startup. This happens as a result of realtime protection not being enabled.

Solution: Open Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition, go to Configure > Files System Auto-Protect and check the box titled “Enable Auto-Protect” to enable realtime protection.
