CIT Labs -- Policies and Information
CIT Instructional and General Purpose Labs:
Locations, Schedules, Contacts

Instructional Labs

CIT operates three instructional labs, which primarily serve course needs on campus. Operators are on duty whenever the labs are open.

Classes are given priority in the instructional labs; labs may not be open to the public during specific class periods. See Classes in the CIT Instructional Labs for more information.

General Purpose Labs

CIT's six general purpose labs are open to general use and rarely have classes scheduled in them. These labs are staffed only part of the time.

Lab locations, hours, and equipment are all subject to change without notice. For the most current information, visit the CIT Labs web page.

CIT Lab Schedule

Lab hours change frequently during the semester, especially during holidays and university breaks. Please refer to the CIT Labs web page for up-to-date schedule information (scroll down to the bottom to find the schedules).

Special Equipment

CIT Labs are equipped with a number of special machines and services. To sign out any lab equipment, including manuals, you will need to leave your student ID or driver's license at the operator's desk.

Please refer to the CIT Labs web page for a complete and up-to-date listing of equipment in the labs.

Voice Recognition: Special-Needs Workstations

CIT has workstations with software for students with special needs in the Upson, Stimson, and Uris labs. For further information, please contact Student Disability Services (254-4545).
