uPortal.Cornell E-mail Channel

Getting Started

Once in uPortal.Cornell, click on the Bear Access tab.

The E-mail Channel typically appears in the upper left. (If you've customized uPortal.Cornell, the E-mail Channel may appear on other tabs as well. To learn how to customize uPortal.Cornell, please see our Guided Tour. )

From here you can:

• Read Mail (and access to other tools)

• Compose a Message

• Navigate your Mail Folders (and access to other tools)

• Check for New Mail (updates your Inbox and folders)

The E-mail channel will expand to fill your browser window when you click on any of the first three of these four icons. To return to uPortal.Cornell, click on the white arrow in the red circle at the upper left of the e-mail screen, then choose Go Back. Or, use the Home or Sitemap links at the top of the window to return to uPortal.Cornell.

The channel display also shows how much of your storage space you are currently using. Each Cornell NetID address gets approximately 300 MB of storage.
