ThunderbirdThunderbird is a full-featured e-mail client supported by CIT. (Comparison chart of all CIT-supported e-mail clients.) Since Thunderbird is software you install, it is best for use on your own computer. (Browser-based clients like WebMail are more appropriate when you use a public computer.) The best way to install Thunderbird is through the Bear Access channel of uPortal.Cornell, or with the Bear Access 2006 CD, which is available at the CIT Contact Center.
See our Thunderbird Description page for general information about what Thunderbird is and does.
