Configuring LDAP settings for Eudora 5.2

Problem: I just installed Eudora from the Cornell installer, but it's not set up for LDAP.

Solution:

The Eudora application that was delivered by CIT does LDAP as it was configured if it is run from scratch with no existing "Eudora Folder". Try renaming your "Eudora Folder" to something else.

To configure your LDAP settings within your existing settings environment, open the Settings dialog box, go to the "Hosts" panel, and enter this in the "Ph/LDAP Server" field:

ldap://directory.cornell.edu/o=Cornell University,c=US? cn,mail,nickname,univTitle,workingTitle,department,campusaddress,homePostalAddress,Phone, localPhone,homephone,facsimileTelephoneNumber,description,proxy,mailroutingaddress, labeleduri,
