Problems Downloading Eudora Attachments

Problem: An attachment I received is preventing me from checking my mail.

Solution:

Sometimes, an attachment will not download through Eudora because it is a large file. This can prevent checking the rest of your email. To get around this, you can turn on an option in Eudora to skip large messages. This option can be found in the Settings from the Special menu. Once there, select the Checking Mail section. Then click the option to Skip Messages Over (blank) K. Set this to 40K or another number which you find reasonable. Then, when you check your mail again, Eudora will only download a "stub" of the original message. If you wish to delete or download the message, see our downloading attachments in Eudora page.
