Problem: Eudora could not be opened because AppearanceLib can not be found.

Solution:

This is a problem that occurs after installing Eudora 4.x on a machine running Mac OS 7.6.1. To fix this problem, download the file "AppearanceMgrInstall 1.0.2.sea" off the Public AppleShare Server or through FTP on campus here. The file is found in Mac OS: Other Apple Software. Double-click the file to expand it on your hard drive, and then run the installer. This should allow Mac OS 7.6.1 users to use Eudora 4.x.
