Receiving Duplicate Messages

Problem: I get duplicate messages of every email I get.

Solution:

The most common cause of this problem is a second personality which is set up to receive messages on the same computer while Leave Messages on Server is on. To fix this, select Settings from the Special menu in Eudora. Then select Personalities from the left pane. Then, look at each Personality available from the pop up menu. If any match another personality's Username and either of the Check Mail options are on in both personalities, you will receive messages twice. In one of the personalities, uncheck both of the Check Mail options.

If this is not the cause of the problem, please contact the CIT HelpDesk at 255-8990.
