How to Get Online
"Get Online" guides help you set up a network connection so you
can start using Bear Access and Cornell's
network services. Guides are available for both Macintosh
and Windows.
The guides listed on this page will help you connect to the network
in two ways: off-campus with a modem, a phone line, and a Cornell
dial-up service (EZ-Remote or Express
Lane); or on-campus with a direct network connection using Ethernet
(see the ResNet
web site for information about Ethernet connections in Residence
Halls).
These guides are online in PDF, which can be viewed using Adobe
Acrobat Reader. Printed copies of the guides for connecting
from off-campus can be requested from the CIT HelpDesk in 119 Computing
and Communications Center on the Ag Quad. For large quantities,
order
online.
