Oracle Calendar Away From Your Desk

You can use Oracle Calendar on a cell phone, a Pocket PC or Palm handheld/PDA device.

There are some differences between the way Oracle Calendar will look on your desktop or laptop computer and how it will look on a cell phone or handheld/PDA device, but it can still be useful to have your agenda available to you when you are away from your desk.

For Cell Phones and Smartphones

If you are using a device with Windows Mobile 2003, MS SmartPhone 2003 or a Treo:

• You'll need to download and install SyncML, an application that allows your phone to communicate with the Cornell Oracle Calendar service.
• Then set up your Calendar connection.
  

For Pocket PC, Palm and other handheld devices

You can either:

• Update your calendar periodically, by connecting to it using your desktop or laptop computer, or
• You can connect to it wirelessly, by downloading and installing SyncML.
• Then set up your Calendar connection.
