Availability and Maintenance Schedule

The Oracle Calendar (formerly CorporateTime) server is available 24 hours per day, Sunday through Saturday.

Campus Calendar Server Maintenance Schedule Calendar

Monthly Maintenance.

One weekend each month the server will be taken down at approximately 9:00 PM on Saturday. A database maintenance run will begin at that time. Estimated down time is 12 hours with an estimated up time of 9:00 AM Sunday morning.

There will also be periodic scheduled down times for upgrades and unscheduled maintenance.

All downtime notifications, planned and unplanned, will be sent to the ECALENDAR-ANNOUNCE-L and NET-ANNOUNCE-L maillists.

Semi-Annual Maintenance.

The implementation of a semi-annual clean-up which includes the purging of historical data and unused calendar accounts took place in January 2007.

Every 6 months all accounts will be checked for usage to determine when the owner of the account last login into their account. If it has been more than a year since the last time the account was logged into a notification will be sent to the owner. The owner will advised of our intent to first disable then delete the account.

After unused accounts have been deleted we will begin purging all but 2 years of data from the calendar database.

All users of the Campus Calendar Server will be notificed prior to the purging of historical data giving them the opportunity to archive their historical data if they so choose.

Current and future scheduled maintenance is available for viewing in calendar form.
