CIT has created a iCal file that contains the Cornell Academic Calendar so you can view the Academic Calendar in your Oracle Calendar agenda.
To Display the Academic Calendar in Your Agenda
First, download the vCal file
- Windows: right-click on this link, http://cufs.cit.cornell.edu/corptime/calimports/AcadCal06-09.ics, and select Save Target As...
- Macintosh: Hold down the Control key while clicking this link, http://cufs.cit.cornell.edu/corptime/calimports/AcadCal06-09.ics, and select Download Linked File As...
Then, sign-in to your Oracle Calendar account.
- From the File menu select Import Data.
- Select iCalendar file and click OK or Continue.
- Windows
- If it is not grayed out, check the box beside Meetings, Day Events, Daily Notes.
- Check the box beside All.
- Click the Browse button.
- Macintosh: go to the next step.
- Locate the AcdCal06-09.ics file and select it.
- Windows: go to the next step
- Macintosh.
- Click Choose.
- In the Import box uncheck Tasks and check Meetings, Day Events, Daily Notes.
- Select Import All Entries and check the box beside it.<>
- Click OK and the import will begin.
Tip!
Many Academic Calendar events occur on weekend, to see them all change your Agenda options to display Saturdays and Sundays.
