HostExplorer prints large fonts

Problem: When printing from HostExplorer, the fonts are larger than usual.

Solution: This problem can be caused by using the wrong installer to install HostExplorer. To fix this follow these instructions:

  1. Open Bear Access
  2. Click on Campus Hosts
  3. Hold down Shift and click on HostExplorer
  4. It will prompt you to download one file. Click Download
  5. It will prompt you to install. Click Install
  6. Follow instructions to install HostExplorer. Reboot when you are done.
  7. Try printing again.
If this does not fix the problem, then please follow these instructions to change the HostExplorer configuration.
  1. Quit HostExplorer if it is open.
  2. Open notepad by clicking on Start | Run and typing notepad into the Open blank.
  3. Click OK
  4. Open the file c:\program files\bear access\winba\HostExplorer\users\hostex\hostex.ini
  5. Add the following line to underneath the [System.Settings] header.
    PrintScreen Font Name = Courier
  6. Close and save the file.
  7. Try printing again.
