HostExplorer prints large fonts
Problem:
When printing from HostExplorer, the fonts are larger than usual.
Solution:
This problem can be caused by using the wrong installer to install HostExplorer. To fix this follow these instructions:
- Open Bear Access
- Click on Campus Hosts
- Hold down Shift and click on HostExplorer
- It will prompt you to download one file. Click Download
- It will prompt you to install. Click Install
- Follow instructions to install HostExplorer. Reboot when you are done.
- Try printing again.
If this does not fix the problem, then please follow these instructions to change the HostExplorer configuration.
- Quit HostExplorer if it is open.
- Open notepad by clicking on Start | Run and typing notepad into the Open blank.
- Click OK
- Open the file c:\program files\bear access\winba\HostExplorer\users\hostex\hostex.ini
- Add the following line to underneath the [System.Settings] header.
PrintScreen Font Name = Courier
- Close and save the file.
- Try printing again.
