Text appears too large when printing screen in Host Explorer on Windows NT

Problem: When printing the screen in Host Explorer on Windows NT, the text appears too large on the printout.

Solution: This problem is solved by editing the hostex.ini file located in \user\hostex\hostex.ini. By default, this will be c:\Program Files\Bear Access\hostexplorer\user\hostex\hostex.ini. To edit the file, simply double click on it by navigating to the specified folder and double clicking on the hostex.ini file.

Add to the end of the file, locate [System.Settings]. Below this, at the end of the file, add PrintScreen Font Name = Courier. Save and close the file and restart Host Explorer.

Windows Troubleshooting

Bear Access | SideCar/Kerberos | E-mail | Symantec AntiVirus
