When trying to start Bear Access, the above message appears.
Solution:
Troubleshoot your network settings.
- ResNet users:
- If you are a student living in a dormitory and are subscribed to the ResNet service, please call the HelpDesk at 255-8990 or e-mail the HelpDesk at helpdesk@cornell.edu.
- Faculty and staff on campus:
- If you have a computer connected to the campus network in an office or lecture hall, please contact the appropriate service team:
- EZ-Remote and Express Lane users:
- Your dial-up connection settings are incorrect. Please contact the HelpDesk at 255-8990 or helpdesk@cornell.edu for instructions on how to correct them.
- Alternate ISP users (RoadRunner, AOL, Lightlink, etc...):
- Please contact the tech support for your ISP to troubleshoot your network connection.
