Problem: Bear Access will not open because ControlsLib could not be found.

Solution:

This is a problem with new versions of Runway and Mac OS 8.1. Resolutions can be found here. There may be other issues with Bear Access 2001 and Mac OS 8.1 which are documented here.

If you continue to experience the ControlsLib error even after applying the patch, make sure you are opening Bear Access from the alias in the Apple Menu, not from another location on your Hard Drive.
