- Office of Information Technologies (OIT) - provides support to the other divisions in CIT and joins them in providing leadership and services to other Cornell units and campuses. CIT actively engages in collaboration with many Higher Ed organizations and institutions.
- Academic Technology Services & User Support (ATSUS) - helps faculty and others involved in the academic mission of the university to integrate information technology and instruction through researching and consulting on new developments in IT, as well as, by providing resources, support, and training to instructors throughout the university.
- Advanced Technology and Architectures (ATA) - serves as a breeding ground for new ideas and as a vehicle for introducing and supporting these ideas in the broader IT community. We are committed to fostering collaboration and encouraging architectural consistency across the institution.
- Information Systems (IS) - provides analysis, design, implementation and production support services to the university's business offices in their use of information technology. IS also defines and implements the common computing/software/information access environment for the general campus community. IS programs involve the general campus infrastructure and services, as well as the administrative infrastructure.
- IT Security Office (ITSO) - is charged with ensuring the security and integrity of the university's computer systems, networks and data, while maintaining an IT environment that is supportive of Cornell's academic mission and culture.
- Systems & Operations (S&O) - provides infrastructure, services, and operational support to other CIT divisions and to the entire Cornell community. Services include mainframe systems programming, facilities & laser systems services, systems administration, systems engineering, storage services, messaging services, client services, the Network Operations Center (NOC) and production operations.
